Y-Country Summer Jam started in 1998. It has been 'at home' in three different places around Michigan's Great Southwest, including the Van Buren County Fairgrounds in Hartford (1998-1999), Lake Michigan College (2000-2004) and at the Shadowland Pavilion on Silver Beach since 2005.

From 2005 through 2011, the event was part of the Sunday festivities at the Venetian Festival on the St. Joseph River, which is no longer in existence. But, Summer Jam will continue on!

This year, Summer Jam moves to a Saturday in August, bucking the trend of our past Sunday shows in July. Changing dates enables us to get more access to artists on the road and a better experience for the fans (and kids)!

The event has always highlighted bright, new, rising Country stars. Over the years, headliners have included artists and groups such as:

  • Toby Keith
  • Blake Shelton
  • Little Big Town
  • Darryl Worley
  • Jack Ingram
  • Luke Bryan
  • Lee Bryce
  • and more!

Y-Country wishes to thank the Ford Motor Company and our Neighborhood Michigan Ford Dealers for their support of this annual event. Without their generous assistance, Michigan's Great Southwest could not see the next "big thing" in Country music every summer!
