Summer Jam from 97.5 Y-Country

Y-Country Summer Jam turns the page to 2021

There will be no Y-Country Summer Jam concert at Silver Beach Shadowland Pavilion in the Summer of 2020.

After thoroughly examining the possibilities versus the potential public health challenges, 97.5 Y-Country has determined that it’s not possible to effectively stage the event in 2020. Summer Jam planners wish to thank sponsors for sticking with us as we attempted to put a show together amid the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as Berrien County Parks, which oversees Shadowland Pavilion.

“The uncertainty surrounding public health requirements going forward simply preclude organizing a quality concert event for several thousand Y-Country listeners this year”, said Summer Jam founder and producer Gayle Olson. He emphasized that the Y-Country Summer Jam will be back in 2021.

Olson had special praise for Summer Jam’s major sponsor since 1998, Your Neighborhood Michigan Ford Dealers. “Ford started with us at the Hartford Fairgrounds, moved with us to Lake Michigan College in 2000, and then to Shadowland Pavilion since 2006, allowing us to bring some of Country Music’s biggest names to Southwest Michigan early in their careers.” Olson said those names included Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan and Little Big Town.

97.5 Y-Country would also like to thank loyal listeners who look forward to Summer Jam every year and enthusiastically turn out to pick up their tickets at locations all over Southwest Michigan.

“We will see you in 2021!”
